Once these skin cells have been destroyed, the process of these skin cells coming to the surface can take several weeks. This is the reason for a 4 week interval between each laser treatment. Lasers treatments also damages the lower layers of the skin in a controlled manner, stimulating the growth of new cells that produce collagen production of collagen.
