Hyaluronic acid is a naturally-occurring substance in the body that is responsible for hydrating and plumping the skin. Once injected into the lips, Juvederm’s hyaluronic acid attracts and binds with water molecules to add and maintain volume, delivering naturally fuller lips that are deeply hydrated.

The effects of Juvederm usually last up to a year before the body absorbs the material.
