While many cosmetic patients are familiar with the benefits of Botox, fewer are aware of a similar but unique product known as Xeomin. Xeomin is an injectable product that can be administered to almost any location of the body. It is common for Xeomin to be injected into the skin between the eyebrows, the forehead, eyelids, lips and the neck.
Xeomin works to temporarily paralyze the muscles that it is injected into, preventing the formation of wrinkles or deepening of existing wrinkles. Xeomin is also commonly used under the arms for excessive sweating. Results typically last between 3-5 months.
Xeomin treatment is painless and takes just a few minutes. However, after treatment you should expect some redness, swelling and bumps at the injection site. These symptoms will subside within a couple of hours of treatment.
Headaches can also occur after Xeomin treatment, however this is rare. You should notice your results within 3-5 days. Contact our office to schedule your consultation today.
